Have my meds stopped working?

For about 3 weeks now I’ve had weird pain in my hip/bum that radiates down my leg and into my heel. I’ve been telling myself that it’s just some sort of a weird injury that will go away, but it doesn’t seem to be getting better. I’m going back to my chiropractor today in hope of a miracle, but I’m concerned that this might mean that my meds aren’t working well any more. I’ve only been on them for a few months, but I was feeling so much better until now. To be fair, I always have more pain around the holiday season, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

Has anything similar happened to other people when their meds stopped working? I mean, my neck, hand, and foot pain is still relatively under control. This hip pain is becoming absurd. I’m on 120 mg of Cymbalta.

Hi, I have the same thing and my doctor told me it’s sciatica. I was given exercises and stretches to help with it, but it still flares up occasionally. I did water therapy for it, too. Your doctor should have some suggestions, or you could look online.

Its sciatica, not fybro related. Go see a gp. Or use anti inflammatory meds.

I have sciatica problems on my left side. Exercises are the key. Your Chiro should also be able to help with the stretching, etc but will most likely suggest some at home exercises.
