Petunia Girl was getting snow in Boston 2 hours ago, about 3:30 EST, I am in MD about 70 miles west of the nations capital, Wash DC and we don't have the snow yet, but are supposed to be getting it. We still have a huge 'lake' behind our house from Sandy, but are very lucky to still have our home! Everyone get ready, especially Fibrokitty, supposed to hit Philly hard! Stay safe and warm! Oh no, then it's basically going to hit the same area hard again. I just checked the Boston area forecast and it wasn't bad. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you folks in the path of this Nor'easter who also got slammed by Sandy. Kind of ironic: Sandy traveled up the seaboard while this storm is heading south and yet both storms seemed destined to hit the same Mid-Atlantic area.

Oh my… I don’t think I am mentally strong enough for this…
My roof has temporary patches to fix the leaks from Sandy that destroyed entire rooms of my home. Fans and dehumidifiers are still running non-stop. We are haggling with the insurance company over the roof. They only want to replace 1/2 the roof, the side facing the street. That makes no sense to me!

I am sorry for what SANDY did alone to your home and all this is such alot to take on...replacing half your roof is no good to anyone and i hope they do it for you.
We've had bad down pours and bad winds in the past and some area's get totally flooded out and after 2yrs of it happening insurnce companies people are with have refused to carry on with their properties.
It's not right when they're soon quick enough of having the money of people.
