Hi everyone - just read a short article that stated that people with Fibro are 11 times more likely to get RLS. I get them and it drives me crazy! It's not very often, thank God - but when it happens it lasts throughout the night. Anyone have any tips how to get rid of them? Would appreciate it! Laurie
Hi Laurie,
At one time this was almost unbearable for me. The Lyrica has helped me with this, even though it's primary use for me is to control the Sciatica. My chiropractor put me on good Cal/mag/D3, and that took care of the rest. I don't have it at all anymore, and I don't miss it a bit. Here is the exact compound vitamin I take.

I also take a pharmaceutical grade multi vitamin, but with all supplements, always consult your PCP. These vitamins are top notch!
Thanks for the advice SK. I am very interested in getting what you mentioned. I do take an excellent multi vitamin - and will look into what you have said. Laurie
Hello Laurie
Restless Legs Syndrome(RLS) is one of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. I get them too. I am on medication for it. Otherwise you will likely be fighting it until you finally fall to sleep.
Gentle hugs
Rachel
Hi Laurie, I used to get restless leg syndrome, but it stopped around the time I started exercising more. Don’t know if it was a coincidence or if it actually helped. I still get cramps in my legs sometimes but that has lessened as well.
Hi Laurie, Oh boy, RLS and I sure do not get along. I have actually had rls for about 5yrs, but before knowing what is was I would go nuts pounding on my calves, stompimg around the house or just crying. I tried heat, ice even a massager, no relief/ Finally my PC gave me a script for Mirapex and what a blessing that was. Every now and than I still get them even with my meds so I take a few large sips of Tonic water with Quinine in it. It doesn't taste really good but I do get fast relief. Hope this will help you you. Take Care and hugs, Robin
