Lol. Probably sounds silly to some but I am just to damn vain. And don’t want people staring at me or heaven forbid me running in to someone I knew and having them see me in one of those and telling anyone. I’d rather have the pain and keep my dignity.
I have given in to pride and vanity a few times and asked for a wheel chair in large hospitals that require a lot of walking, could have used one many times in malls, grocery stores, especially Walmart.
You really are an inspiration, Gianna, well put!
I have far less vanity and much more sense these days!
KVH, Congrats on your weight loss !!! That’s amazing ! You have had great support on this post, I can tell you for sure you are not alone, I think it so wonderful that you went with your daughter, although she may not understand the full impact of a trip to the mall, it sounds like she loves you very much !!! And for that the blessings are huge !!! I am so thankful for my daughter !!! We can’t focus on what we can’t do, we have to focus on what we can, and like all of us, we push ourself and then pay ! we all do that for sure!! And then it’s so frustrating, but it sure sounds like you are focused on the positive… That’s great !!!
I’m so sorry you had such a hard time, I’m guessing you will be able to wear that great new outfit !!!
Hugs & blessings
KV,
i'm sorry. You should be able to enjoy a simple trip to the mall with your daughter without the agonizing pain erupting and disrupting your day. You're right, there should be something that stops the pain and slows down the illness. Maybe in a few years time.
You never know, you may get a chance to wear the outfit without killing yourself in the process.
Your daughter sounds like a good girl. And it's nice that you got to be with her, although under less than stellar circumstances.
