Praying for all involved!!
I live in Central Massachusetts! We are going to get hit badly as well. I call feel it coming in my body very slowly. Thank goodness for pain meds and all sorts of gadgets, like my TENS unit to help me. We have a bunch of bottled water and will probably make sure that I have what we need in case we get some snow. Unfortunately I have my Pain Doc appointment on Tuesday that I cannot miss...I needs my Serapin shots in my right bursa needs help badly, so I gotta go. On top of it all, I am the first appointment of the morning that day!!!! ACK!!!! So I am going to call the office on Monday to see what will happen. I hope they keep my appointment! Wish me luck!
Bless you JC!!

WATCH THE STORM LIVE ON A MAP HERE:
Nan, that's some storm if it's even going to affect your area. I hope it doesn't mess up the World Series! Or that the players don't have to play in an awful rainstorm. Meanwhile, I hope that you'll be okay. Must be some storm for you to feel it in your fibro. Frankly, Nan, that's a bit frightening, considering you're all the way in Detroit and the storm is off the coast of the Atlantic still.
My best to you and yours, too. I hope everyone here is safe and unharmed by the storm.
I, as I'm sure all of us here will be, praying for the safety of all of you there! May all of you ride this out in the safety of His arms! Soft Hugs, Jenni
Thanks SK, wow we had a drop in temp yesterday, record high in the 70’s, by 7pm ,temp drop more than 20 degrees, I have had a migraine since, had to pack my head in ice today, if that storm hits my poor head is doomed, I haven’t been able to even watch tv, I knew the storm may come this way, I better get out Sunday and get some water, gas ect… I lived in Houston for 7 years &preparing for a storm was no fun, usually the grocery store shelves would become empty, after reading this post I’m wishing i had pushed throught this migraine & gone to the store.
Thank you for this reminder to get prepared, I wasn’t even thinking… Yikes I should know better lol , we had a horrible snow storm early oct, few years back ( the October storm) with all the leaves still on the trees it was a nightmare…no power 2 weeks … Oh geez I’m going to the store first thing in am
Hugs & blessing
dee, you have messages from me telling you to check your e-mails from JC to link you into the Moderator sites!
I saw a good idea on TV for Storm Prep. Fill ziplock bags halfway with water and fill all the emtpy area's in your freezer with them. Or any plastic containers too for the larger area's. That way if the elec.goes out.. will stay frozen longer And you'll have extra water to thaw out if you need to.
My honey lives near Atlantic City and he just texted me that there's flooding on the "island" which is right at the beach. there already. ( don't know how much)... might be high tide too.
Praying that everyone is safe and has someone to hang out with if you can't get out to get prepared. My garage gets flooded when it rains too hard so I'll be dealing with that.. ugh!
Route 1 at Indian River Inlet Bridge is now closed. Water is starting to cover the road there. This is in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
Hope everyone is safe and prepared for Sandy.
Hugs to everyone, Tina
praying for safety for all of you. I know you will take every precaution. Praying too that all this cold and weather AND strees does not affect your Fibro and other problems
I'm hoping and praying that everyone here, including your loved ones, stays safe and well during this storm. And I also pray that your property stays safe.
I live in the Greater Boston area and my sister and my jobs are closed tomorrow, which surprised me as jobs in Boston (where my sister works) almost NEVER close. It gives me a better feeling of just how powerful this storm truly is. And wide.
Also, I hope your fibro isn't affected too badly by the storm. For some reason, I am experiencing some wheezing. And exhausted, slept most of the day. Probably because I had to help move air conditioners, ugh.
I think we are ready, as ready for something like this that you can be. Hope we do not loose power! Worried about my Enbrel shots. Have about 29 autoinjectors worth about $1800. each! Have to stay cool, but hubs has a generator to keep things going, one at a time.
Loosing power is always a drag! Loosing a brand new section of roof is too! Whew! We have huge trees behind our house, so that is always a big concern. They are walnut, and bare, always the first to loose leaves, the last to have leaves.
Time for my TV show, Homeland.
Everyone be safe!
SK
Susan someone else mentioned to fill some ziploc bags half full of water and freeze them, then if the power goes out you can use those for your shots to keep them cool for a longer time. Glad you have a generator but that can only run 1 appliance at a time I think. Praying for you and all involved.
